in your head tell yourself in a few words how you’d like to feel eg. ‘after my mii‑chi session I’d like to feel calm, focussed and balanced’

positive affirmations can also be used to overcome negative thoughts, reprogram our pattern of thinking, improve your self-esteem, reduce stress and reinforce positive patterns of behaviour
