this technique has the opposite effect to all the other techniques
it will activate your sympathetic nervous system
use it tactically when you feel lethargic, or to pump yourself up
inhale deeply and slowly through your nose
feel the air travelling down your body allowing your belly to fully expand
exhale slowly through your mouth
inhale deeply and slowly through your nose
exhale quickly by pulling in the lower abs, to force air out of your mouth in short spurts
continue passive inhalation and active exhalation for 25–30 rounds
